2008 CMT Music Awards Online Celebrity Auction

CMT brings the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS to the fans, one item at a time, as CMT ONE COUNTRY presents an online auction of items donated by awards show participants beginning Tuesday, April 15.
All proceeds benefit CMT ONE COUNTRY partners.
The online auction, via cmtauctions.com, will feature:
· a specially designed t-shirt by Manuel Couture worn by Miley Cyrus during a CMT host photo shoot
· a guitar signed by Miley Cyrus
· a pair of autographed jeans worn by Keith Urban
Hosted by music’s hottest father and daughter, Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus, the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS air live from Nashville’s Curb Event Center at Belmont University on Monday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT* on CMT and CMT.com.

Miley Cyrus not an Idol Fan

Miley Cyrus took part in Idol Gives Back on Sunday but revealed that she has never been a fan of the show. The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star said she just doesn’t have time to get into the show.
“I’ve never seen a single episode. Ever. I think it’s something you have to really get into from the beginning and I just don’t have time!” Cyrus said.
Idol Gives Back airs Wednesday and will include Cyrus’ two performances.
I may be a fan of Miley, but I think it’s in poor taste that she would make such a statement. I liken that to Heidi Montag endorsing John McCain but not being registered to vote.
Guess her daddy hasn’t taught her how to be more in touch with her hospitable southern roots just yet.

Larry Rudolph Gives Insider Info on Britney Spears

Rumors have been everywhere during the past week that Britney Spears’ former manager, Larry Rudolph, is back in Britney’s life. Larry was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Thursday and made some interesting comments about Britney.
Larry Rudolph said he met with Britney recently and says, “I’ve seen her a few times over the past week or two. I’ve spent some time with her just socially. I’ve gone up to the house. I’ve sat with her. She’s in great shape. I couldn’t be happier to see the condition she’s in. But this is not a time to talk about business with her.”
When asked about Britney’s recent troubles, Larry Rudolph said, “What she needs now is she needs the public to be on her side and root for her, because she deserves it and that means a lot to her.”
Larry Rudolph also praised Britney’s recent appearance on How I Met Your Mother, and said that if he was advising Spears, he’d suggest that she, “do another little thing like that,” soon.
When Ryan Seacrest asked Larry about other forces back in Britney’s life like her parents, Larry said, “She needs people around her who are there for the right reasons.”
When asked about Britney’s future, Larry said, “I can’t think of a situation where somebody’s been set up for a bigger comeback than that girl.”
Makes you wonder what’s coming next for Britney Spears. Hmmm…
