John Mayer fled to New York City in the days following his breakup with Jennifer Aniston. But as he hit the club scene on Aug. 15, it became clear he wasn’t exactly nursing a broken heart. “He hooked up with this little cute blond thing at Goldbar,” says an insider. “She went to his apartment over the weekend, too."
But he did kiss and tell when it came to Jennifer. On Aug. 16, the singer broke his silence, confirming to reporters, including one from Life & Style, that he and Jen had split — and that it was he who’d ended things.“I ended the relationship because there’s no lying,” he said, “because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right."
I think John boy was trying to make up for something that he must have been lacking where Jen was concerned.

Lindsay Lohan celebrates gal pal Samantha Ronson’s birthday with a party at a lingerie store in West Hollywood on Thursday.
Outside the party was an ice cream truck where guests could come and get treats. Lindsay came out holding a fake pink ice cream cone which she held up to Samantha.
When Sam, now 31, went to suck on it, Lindsay shot the top off as a joke. Lindsay showed off a diamond ring at the party, and when the couple left the party, they held hands as they walked.

Jamie Lynn Spears & Baby Go to Wal-Mart

Jamie Lynn Spears and her seven-week-old daughter, Maddie Briann, stepped out in Kentwood, Louisiana, on Wednesday.
After a visit to the doctor’s office, the two popped by the local Wal-Mart the same spot where Jamie Lynn celebrated her 17th birthday in April.
Jamie Lynn, who showed off her post-baby bod in hot pink shorts, covered Maddie with a pale pink blanket.
The group finished off the afternoon with lunch at the Spears’ family favorite, Nyla’s Burger Basket.
Jamie Lynn and her fiance, 19-year-old pipe layer Casey Aldridge, have been keeping a low profile since welcoming their daughter in June.
"I’m sure they’re doing great," cousin Alli Sims told Us shortly after Jamie Lynn gave birth. "I know they’re just so excited."
