You have just finished a good meal, very satisfying, in a sleek new restaurant that just opened in your area. When you start playing again delights of the night in your mind that suddenly stopped. In front of you is the piece de resistance, perfectly chilled, frothy glass of Sauternes and a wafer thin slices of foie gras.
For many connoisseurs of this unique course is spectacular, the best overnight. Perfectly embodies the play of sweet and salty that works so well with a dessert wine and meat.
Dessert wines are an important niche in the wine industry, but are not as common as the red, white and sparkling wines. They go by several different names. In England, they are sometimes called dessert wines in Australia a dessert wine can be called a stick.
A Wine By Any Other Name
Since there is a unique name for a dessert wine, there is no definition of dessert wine shop. There are many different theories about what is and is not a dessert wine depending on where you are in the world. England seems to have more complicated rules to determine the status of a dessert wine.

Sussreserve
In the dessert wines of Germany are subject to a unique process that is hundreds of years called Sussreserve. After the wine has fully fermented, the juice or grape juice is added. This adds a measure of sweetness to the mix and reducing the final alcohol content.
There are several reasons for the success of Sussreserve. Above all, there is an excellent wine and good dessert. It also dilutes the acceptable standards of German wine, no more than 15 percent alcohol by volume. For producers, the fermentation process is less complicated, because it did not stop the process until all the sugars are gone. The success of Sussreserve technique has made popular in New Zealand and elsewhere.
Fortified wines are created when the winemaker adds the brandy before all the natural sugars in the fermenting grapes. The mandate of the mixture of different wines winemaker is the fortification. Fortified wines are sweet as Bristol Cream Sherry and Pedro Ximenez.
A perfect match
