Hot Air
Hot air balloons and explanations of how the 7 years of age?

Im helping my child to answer a question from school, but not always better understanding of and Im trying to explain in simple terms what he (and I) get it. This is what I wrote: What makes a place in balloon hot air? Warmer air rises in cooler air. A hot air balloon has a bag called the envelope that can hold the hot air. Under that is a basket, this implies a heat source that can produce an increase from the air inside the envelope and the outside air temperature. This helps keep the ball and is passengers in the air. Is that correct? Can you offer a better explanation? Im having trouble understanding the information on websites so please read this medium and want to know if it is correct. Otherwise please suggest changes and re-write for me ... thanks ... I remember it is 7, no mass words and technical terms, thanks.

Yes, basically correct. Hot air is less dense than cold air so it is lighter and rises. for a visual demonstration can use a balloon and water, with water that is cooler air and the balloon, as the hot air balloon. The balloon floats in the water heater just as the balloon floats in the air colder
