Britney and Kevin Federline have $50,000

It appears that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline still has to settle a huge asset - according to the Louisiana State Dept. of Revenue, when they were still married the goverment owes the ex-couple over $50,000.
Where did the money come from? It is from an unclaimed interest fund earned from either a joint property the ex-couple sold back in Louisina, or some shared income tax filed several years ago when they were still together.
The point is, the refund is jointly owned and K-Fed and Britney will just have to figure out how to split their surprise money.

After months of rumors that Kevin Federline was working on a reality-TV project, Britney Spears' ex-husband has been confirmed as a participant on the next season of VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club," People reports.
The news was first reported by TMZ, which said he was spotted going onto the set of the show in Simi Valley, California. Calls to both VH1 and Federline's rep to confirm the report were not returned to MTV News.

Britney Attends Cousin’s Wedding in Louisiana

After making a splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, Louisiana, where she made a very low-key appearance as a bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington.
"When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful," says one wedding guest. "She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.”
The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington's mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007.
Later, at the wedding reception, Brit hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn and niece, baby Maddie, and "sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew," says the guest.
"There was no fanfare," noted the guest. "With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride's day."
