Hot rollers?

Hot rollers I have no idea how to use them. I have very ugly wave at the ends. Only parted in the middle and I do not know how to braid myself. I'm looking for some advice on the separation of different ways, using hot rollers, and keep hair in place. Any information on hair styles ... my hair is long and thick.

I also have long, thick hair and have used hot rollers for years. The best advice I can use hot rollers to give the ride just the hair is adequate (not too much nor too little). The waves are ugly in the extreme of not starting at the ends of the section Hair that is rolling. In addition, long thick hair looks better with some layers long worked in. It also allows the hair to hold curl better and gives a "hairstyle" compared to only long thick hair. Hope this helps!

What is a "spring" curling iron?

I'm looking to get a curling iron but do not want to spend too much money on it because I have faith in it yet. I have difficult hair. However, I have heard that "spring" break easily curlers. Is this true?

"No Spring curlers are likely to be familiar. They have a thumb control that uses a spring shell opening and closing (held closed by itself and it opens with the small thumb loop). The other option is a Marcel iron. They are more difficult to use until you become used to it. It has a loose handle required several fingers that are used for opening and closing - is handle is long. It's made that way so it can be easily and more easily controlled warehouse. Get an iron spring.
